A morning cup of coffee and a warm, fresh cinnamon roll go hand in hand. It’s practically science.
But what about coffee ON your cinnamon roll? One of our biggest Purpose Coffee enthusiasts created a recipe for Purpose Coffee Frosting, which she used on her latest batch of cinnamon rolls. Take my word for it – it was divine.
With her permission, here’s the recipe for the frosting. Happy baking!
1 cup unsalted butter at room temperature
2 cups powdered sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 tablespoon Purpose Coffee (finely ground), mixed with 2 tablespoons of water
Beat butter on medium high for 3 minutes. Slowly add powdered sugar, 1/2 cup at a time. Once it’s fully incorporated, add vanilla and the Purpose Coffee/water mixture. Stir to combine!
She spread the frosting over warm cinnamon rolls, and it melted into the rolls. Yum-my.
